UAVNZ Member Guide: Submitting to the CAA on NPRMs 25‑01 & 25‑02

1. Review Our Draft Submission

Download the full UAVNZ PDF submission or UAVNZ NPRM Submission Content in word for the submission text (with numbered paragraphs). Read through and edit any part to reflect your own organisational perspective or operations before submitting.

2. Prepare Your Submission

• Choose whether it supports, supports with changes, or does not support the NPRMs.
• Either copy your customised version into the CAA form or attach it as a PDF/Word file.
• Make sure you fill in all form fields (name, organisation, email, etc.).

3. Visit the CAA Submission Page

Go to the official CAA page here.

4. Complete the Form

1. Select “Organisation”.
2. Enter your name, organisation (e.g. UAVNZ member X), and contact details.
3. Tick the boxes for: (Note in the content of the submission it states it is for both 25-01 & 25-02)
   • NPRM 25‑01 Part 107
   • NPRM 25‑02 Part 101 & CATI 101.17
4. Choose one of these options for each NPRM:
   • “Acceptable without change”
   • “Acceptable but would be improved if the following changes were made”
   • “Not acceptable but would be acceptable if the following changes were made”
   • “Not acceptable under any circumstances
5. Paste in your comments or upload the submission document.

5. Send & Save Confirmation

• Check the “receive final rule” option, if available.
• Submit the form.
• Screenshot or save your confirmation page or email for record‑keeping.
