Facilitator: Samantha McBride

Samantha is a Health, Wellness, and Mental Fitness Coach on a mission to break down barriers and grow scalable groups of motivated men to build better health, mindset, and connection — together. With an Honours degree in Human Physiology, a UK Territorial Army Commission, and nearly 30 years of life and business experience, Sam returned to her passion: helping people improve their health.

She co-owns Airspread South, a Part 137 topdressing business in Northern Southland, and serves as its Health and Safety Manager — giving her real-world insight into the challenges facing rural men and business. She’s especially passionate about addressing stress, policy pressures, and mental fitness in male-dominated industries.

Currently, she’s working on a PhD proposal for Otago University exploring the impact of stress mindset interventions for rural Kiwi men, and believes in the power of peer support, a growth mindset, and practical tools to drive lasting change.
